Clinton Administration on Terrorism 101

Does everybody have their thinking caps on and their pencils to take notes? I know that a lot of smack has been going around with the Clinton Administration and their inaction with Terrorism. But what exactly did the administration do to fight terrorism?
NOTHING!!! They had every opportunity to turn things around and solve certain loop holes that existed in the system. Did they patch things up? NO! Common sense and enforcement are not the words to describe the Clinton Administration. More appropriate words are scandalous and shameful. Here are some additional resources that you may add to your arsenal when talking about the Clintonista Era to other people.

The polls, which Clinton bothered himself with so much, gave him the green light to fight terrorism and clean up the INS and illegal immigration in this country. What did he think about this? He thought that it might OFFEND immigrants. If they are illegal immigrants doesn't that mean that they are no longer suppose to be here in the United States? How are we going to offend them by upholding our laws? What about Sudan, when trying to amend ties with America, offered Former President Clinton the head of Osama bin Laden and Clinton did not take Sudan up on the offer. If this was Clinton's method of counter-terrorism then he did nothing to prevent the September attacks on America. Watch out of the Liberal Left to blame these attacks on President Bush. Bush had inherited a dilapidated force for counter terrorism in the CIA and FBI. This was mainly due to the down-sizing and dumbing down of these agencies by the 8 years of the Clinton Administration. Should we forget the damage done by the Clinton Administration and blame it on the Bush Administration?

Oh, Stop and Look...An Accident!!!

How I appreciate when people on the interstate stop and look at an accident that is occurring in the other lane. I really do enjoy looking at the rear end of somebody else's car while the highway is gridlocked because some people choose to stop and look, then proceed with their business. Not only am I grateful for getting to work late, but paranoid each time somebody hits their brakes hard just to see what is going on. I think these people should mind their own business. They obviously do not have anything better to do than to look at an accident that really does not affect them in any way. Not to mention they will forget it happened about a mile after it passes. Not only do they hold up everybody's day they endanger people's commute by slowing down the flow of traffic during rush hour. Why can't people just mind their own business???

Gutless Republicans

Conservative Republicans consistently tell others that they are for smaller government and greater personal freedoms. Is this correct? What small government creates more sub-committees and a new cabinet position? What small government federalizes Airport workers? Have the Republicans lost their conservativism and adopted a more moderate stance on issues?

The way the Left-Wing do their business in politics is to:

  • Look at polls and statistics to decide what position they will take.
  • Bash the Right on any issue.
  • Appeal to the emotions instead of using logic.

However, the core values of the Republican Party of smaller government and personal freedoms are being exchanged by some of the Liberal habits. I have seen Republicans too often look at polls and all-your-basing their action on what the majority of the American public want instead of doing what is prudent for the future. The Republican Party needs to re-strengthen by taking a firm stand on issues and returning to their core values. This is the main reason why the Libertarian Party has gained significant ground as a political party, by picking up those that are discontent with the direction that the Republican Party is heading. It would be unwise to let the left-wing defeat a good bill without putting up a strong fight. My advice to the Republicans...play hard-ball.

Treason or not to Treason?

It seems as if the Taliban uses the same methods the liberals do for brainwashing. John Walker, an American Citizen, has taken arms against the United States and opposition forces by fighting with the Taliban. Should we try him for treason?

Treason is a legal term for various acts of disloyalty. Has this John "Taliban" Walker shown an act of disloyalty? I believe that the fact that we caught him with the Taliban we can assume he has taken an act against the United States Military and would like to harm any of our troops over there. Try him for treason...I believe we should, however we do need some of our own troops to testify that they saw him take arms against the United States Military for a solid treason case. A Benedict Arnold...I would say so although. Unfortunately, he is an American Citizen and we cannot try him in the Military Tribunal because he is protected under our Constitution, unless he has renounced his United States citizenship. However, I hope the media doesn't make him out to be a victim and revere him as a hero...that would be an insult to our men and women in uniform.
