The War on Drugs is basically another failed attempt at prohibition. If people are thirsty they will find a drink! We all have learned this in history class. Why do we continually fund the drug war when we KNOW that it has failed? Why put convicts through prision that were caught with posession of drugs when we could save money and ease the tax burden on working citizens that front the money for such operations. In fact, the War on Drugs is costing the American taxpayer a pretty penny and what are the gains? Where do you draw the line for success? The War on Terror has the same end-result as the War on Drugs...there is no end objective. Is it the Government's position to tell somebody what they can or cannot do? If you know that the Drug War has failed will you still fund and support it? Questions Questions, Questions...but seriously...think about it and only you can find the answer out for yourself.
