Kerry will further widen the gap after the debates

We are all anticipating the Presidential Debate that will be aired tomorrow on the major news channels. I have full confidence that President Bush will win and sweep this debate. Typically, the first debate of the series is the most watched. Tomorrow night the American public will find Kerry not resolute on the War on Iraq and find discrepancies on his foreign policies. I'm sure that President Bush will make some sharp comment about Kerry flip-flopping. However at the end we are going to see Bush as the victor. Hmm...when are we going to see some third party candidates welcome in these debates???

Is Bush too resolute about Iran?

O'REILLY: Would you allow Iran to develop a nuclear weapon?

BUSH: We are working our hearts out so that they don't develop a nuclear weapon, and the best way to do so is to continue to keep international pressure on them.

O'REILLY: Is it conceivable that you would allow them to develop a nuclear weapon?

BUSH: No, we've made it clear, our position is that they won't have a nuclear weapon.

O'REILLY: Period.

BUSH: Yes.

Transcript: Bush Talks to O'Reilly

Bush is too resolute about this issue. Why is the United States dictating the advancement of other nations? Who are we do decide who and who will NOT have nuclear power? Does this mean War in Iran if diplomacy fails?

Moves to downsize British candy bars - Fat Bastards protest!

Manufacturers are either scrapping or repackaging king-size bars

It looks like King-sized candy bars are on the out. Another example of a Socialistic Government controlling what people eat. What is next, what they can or cannot wear? They call it an "Official Campaign against Obesity," but it is just another government program in England to control the portions their citizens eat. Watch out for this to head stateside.

Response to John Kerry's Speech at Temple University

My priority will be to find and capture or kill the terrorists before they get us.

Oh Boy! Let's see what we have in store for this speech.

As president, I will expand our Army by 40,000 troops so that we have more soldiers to find and fight the enemy. I will double our Army Special Forces capacity. And we will accelerate the development and deployment of new technologies to track down and bring down terrorists.

How will you expand troops? How are you going to recruit additional troops to join the armed forces? Will you institute the draft? Are you assuming that young men and women will automatically sign up for the military if you become President? I'm sure more people will likely stay out of the military if you were elected.

Terminating the Draft - Senator John Forbes Kerry voted NO.

How will you double the Army Special Forces, Senator Kerry? Will you lower the standards for Special Forces entry? Don't you think that would be an unwise decision since Special Forces are suppose to be our elite military power?

I will strengthen our intelligence system to detect and stop the terrorists before they can strike.

How can you possibly say this when you have a 20 year history of being soft on strengthening our defense systems?

Missile Defense - Senator John Forbes Kerry voted NO.
Space-Based Laser Development - Senator John Forbes Kerry voted NO.
Vote on an amendment to reduce funding for a national missile defense program. - Senator John Forbes Kerry voted YES.
Fiscal04 Supplemental for Iraq and Afghanistan-Passage - Senator John Forbes Kerry voted NO.

I will create a National Intelligence Director with all the budget and personnel authority the Commission says is needed to keep us safe. I will double our overseas clandestine service, train the linguists and Arab experts we need, and make sure the operation – hunting down bin Laden and al Qaeda -- has all the resources it needs.

Why do we have a National Security Advisor, Secretary of State, Department of Defense, and Directory of the CIA? The answer is NOT more government Senator Kerry.

I will secure all nuclear weapons and materials in the former Soviet Union within four years. At President Bush’s pace, it will take 13 years.

How will you do this? What are the means and methods for this 4 year timeline? How will you make Russia and other rogue nations comply?

I will make it clear to Iran that we will lead an international effort to impose tough sanctions if they do not permanently suspend their uranium enrichment program and provide verifiable assurances that they are not developing nuclear weapons.

How are you able to enforce this? Through sanctions? Do you think they care? Will you go plea to the UN for international effort?

Third, as president, I will wage a war on terrorist finances every bit as total as the war we wage on the terrorists themselves. We will trace terrorist funds to their sources and freeze the assets of anyone -- any person, bank, business or foreign official -- who is financing terrorism.

President Bush started freezing assets of these financiers immediately after 9/11. This is old news...

At our seaports we’re physically inspecting only 5% of the cargo coming into America. The Bush Administration is spending more in Iraq in four days than they’ve spent protecting our ports for all of the last three years.

Senator Kerry, you are more willing to anticipate terrorists to come to our shore and then retaliate for an attack? How about trying to stop them from even reaching our shores?

So we will win when we show that America uses its economic power for the common good, doing our share to defeat the abject poverty, hunger, and disease that destroy lives and create failed states in every part of the world. The world’s poorest countries, suffering under crushing debt burdens, need particular attention. As president, I will lead the international community to cancel the debt of the most vulnerable nations in return for them living up to goals of social and economic progress.

Senator Kerry, the Islamic Terrorist do not care about poverty nor do they care about economic aid. They have an agenda...that agenda is to destory anything that is American. They will continue to live in poverty for the prospect of destroying America. Giving them aid will only further this cause. It shows that you are detached from this world.

I will be clear with repressive governments in the region that we expect to see them change – not just for our sake but for their own survival.

How are you going to do this? Through the UN? Wage War?

But the Bush administration would have you believe that when it comes to our allies, it won’t make a difference who is president. They say the Europeans won’t help us, no matter what. We’re not going to get more cooperation in the war on terror, no matter what. Ordinary people around the world will resent us, no matter what. But I have news for President Bush: just because you can’t do something, doesn’t mean it can’t be done.

How will you gain a coalition? France has already said they will not deploy additional troops if you were elected. What is your strategy? Which countries will back you on this coalition?

New Commission Structure - Hindsight and Foresight

My thoughts about my company's new commission structure.

This post regards the new commission structure and its failure to provide employees any type of commission in certain conditions.

Yes, we all know that we are underpaid. Per Hour, my guys make less than the Shoe Store next door! In the old commission structure the manager can award individuals based on total sales and performance. In the new commission structure we are faced with some sort of "Flat-Tax" rate that does not account for traffic driven to the store and/or any metrics remotely resembling any logical statistical models. It seems almost like picking numbers out of thin air. This type of commission structure assumes that all stores have the same traffic in which all sales people are able to acheive same the minimum commissionable margin amount. It does not account for region, traffic, or seasons. Here is where the fallacy lies.

We have a store goal to meet. Perhaps the margin goal is $39,000 in your store. You have 3 full-time sales employees (3 * $6,500 = $19,500) and you have 2 part-time sales employees (2 * $4,000 = $8,000). This amounts to $27,500. This gives a difference of $11,500 which is almost 2 additional full-time employees in minimum margin amount. If the individual cannot attain the minimum sales margin or more, is it prudent to replace the sales person with another individual that you have to then again train and invest time? What kind of worth are we trying to convey to our employees? That they are dispensible? If the employee achieves only minimum sales margain amount we still punish them for working so hard to achieve it and we have $0 to show for them at the end of the month. Even our technicians, when they meet the minimum tech revenue shows for considerable amount of incentive on their paycheck. We award inventory control points to the technician whereas the sales people do just as much work to keep inventory control at bay...yet we ONLY award the technician.

It is good business practice to maximize sales and profit. This I understand. But is it good business practice to turn over employees as frequently as we change our undershorts? What value do we put in our employees if we hold them to metrics they cannot attain in which they see no incentive and holds a job that only pays minimum wage? What loyalty do we instill in our employees to maintian their work ethic and motivation if we provide them a minimum wage with no incentives? This makes them only want to work less and to continue search for another job because it seems that this company does not value its employees. We can spout out that benefits are great, indeed they are great, however what matters is the amount of money we receive in our pockets at the end of the day to pay our bills. I'm sure that some employees will sacrifice some benefits to earn more on their paycheck.

What we can do instead, to motivate our salespersons, is to set the minimum commissionable margin amount that is suitable according to previous margin numbers. Perhaps take the mean of 3 months, set that as the goal and use the standard deviation added to the mean to model High Goal. Set minimum margain amounts according to their status by dividing the margin goal amount between FTE count. If we can do this and consistently provide some sort of incentive to our sales people we can see morale boost and the willingness to improve individually as an employee and as a salesperson. Not to mention, an attainable goal to earn commission for our employees. If we continue to keep our sales people down through unrealistic goals and show no incentive we will continue down this continuous spiral of employees using this job as a means to find another job in the process. Continuity of employees is a big factor, as a familiar face in a store provides the customer a welcome experience and comfortability which not CompUSA nor Best Buy can compare. How many of our customers know our sales associates by name whereas walking into CompUSA we have no idea one guy from the next. Let's keep this in mind and see what we can do for our employees.

CBS = Communist Bull-Shit

It seems that Dan Blather keeps up with his false journalistic talents. That is, the talent to report false journalism. In recent days, some supposedly smoking gun of Bush's Texas Air National Guard documents have surfaced explaining that his service was less than honorable. We are finding out that these documents that the DNC handed over to CBS were typed up in MICROSOFT WORD! Microsoft Word did not exist when these documents were originally created. Not to mention, this isn't the first time Dan Blather has falsely reported stories, In 1988 Dan Rather did a documentary on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) on Vietnam Vets. This program was labeled, "The Wall Within" and what we found out was that the whole thing was false. Watch out what you hear or see from the mainstream media. They have ties to Democrats as Dan Rather has attended fundraisers for the Travis County Democratic Party in Texas in which he still decries his independence from any party affiliation.

Democratic National Committee 'Action Alert' E-mail

How preposterous...Read below.

Democratic National Committee 'Action Alert' E-mail
By Democratic National Committee
CNSNews.com Information Services
September 10, 2004

(Editor's Note: The following is the text of an "action alert" e-mail sent Friday morning from the Democratic National Committee.)

Dear [Supporter],

Back in February, President Bush sat down in the Oval Office for an interview with Tim Russert and spoke about his service in the National Guard. Bush told us, "I put in my time, proudly so." He said, "And I'm telling you, I did my duty."

But now we know that Bush dishonored the Oval Office by lying to the American people.

New investigations from multiple media sources have revealed the truth about President Bush's service. New military documents show that Bush disobeyed a direct order from his commander to take a flight physical and "failed to perform to U.S. Air Force/Texas Air National Guard standards" -- and was grounded as a result.

New evidence supports claims that Bush missed months of service and that he never showed up for service with the Alabama National Guard.

New evidence shows that Bush received special treatment. His supervisor wrote that he felt pressured from above to "sugar coat" Bush's records.

And Ben Barnes, former Lt. Governor and State House Speaker of Texas, has come forward to say that he pulled strings to get Bush a coveted spot in the Guard, which directly contradicts Bush's claim that he received no special treatment.

Only Bush Can Answer Questions

President Bush has a lot to answer for. Only he can clear up the questions regarding the discrepancies in his service record, and he owes the American people those answers. Here are just a few of the questions Bush must answer.

Why did George Bush say "I did my duty" when he missed months of duty in 1972, 73 and 74?

How did George Bush avoid getting called into active service for missing months of duty in 1972, 73, and 74?

Why did George Bush disobey a direct order to take his physical?

What standard did George Bush fail to meet when he was grounded for failing to perform at US Air Force/Texas Air National Guard Standards?

Why did George Bush go above his commander's head to ensure a favorable evaluation he had not earned?

Why did George Bush say he received "no special treatment" when Ben Barnes says he pulled strings to secure a Guard slot for him?

Who asked Bush family friend Sidney Adger to get Bush a slot in the Guard immediately after Bush graduated and at the height of the Vietnam War?

When will George Bush produce any credible witness who can attest to his service in the Alabama Air National Guard?

Take Action

You can help us hold Bush accountable. Sign our petition to President Bush and demand that he answer the American people's questions about his Guard service.

Make sure the pressure stays on Bush and make sure the media holds him responsible. Write a letter to the editor of your local paper about the questions you have for President Bush.

Before you fall for Dems’ spin, here are the facts

Watch out what you are giving by the mainstream media. They have their own agenda. The truth to George W. Bush's Air National Guard service is all in this article.

During his service, Bush received high marks as a pilot.

A 1970 evaluation said Bush “clearly stands out as a top notch fighter interceptor pilot” and was “a natural leader whom his contemporaries look to for leadership.”

A 1971 evaluation called Bush “an exceptionally fine young officer and pilot” who “continually flies intercept missions with the unit to increase his proficiency even further.” And a 1972 evaluation called Bush “an exceptional fighter interceptor pilot and officer.”

Before you fall for Dems’ spin, here are the facts

Hopefully we can get Kerry to release more of his service records.

Questions Raised About Bush Guard Service

The cat is out of the bag...and it makes Kerry look silly!

With all of Kerry's call for Bush to release his Air National Guard service records, an additional 12 pages have been found.

"These documents confirm that the president served honorably in the National Guard," White House spokeswoman Claire Buchan said Tuesday night. "

I wonder how many more points Kerry will slip down in the polls.

Nader having problems getting ballot access...

Ron Edmonds (AP)Nader seems to be having a lot of problems lately getting ballot access. His Liberal friends, the Democrats, are trying to block him from being on the ballot this November election. I think that this is wrong. As long as all of the procedures and petitions are signed and turned in there is no reason why he should not have ballot access. Although I do not agree with Nader's platform and ideals, I do believe he has every right to be on the ballot if the rules are followed. It is just a shame that his fellow Liberals are trying so hard not to help him succeed. I thought the Democrats were all for trying to see third parties have a voice anyways...

Al-gebra Movement

TEACHER ARRESTED
JFK, NY August 15, 2004 NY Times

At New York's Kennedy airport today, an individual later discovered to be a public school teacher was arrested trying to board a flight while in possession of a ruler, a protractor, a set square, a slide rule, and a calculator.

At a morning press conference, Attorney general John Ashcroft said he believes the man is a member of the notorious al-gebra movement. He is being charged by the FBI with carrying weapons of math instruction.

"Al-gebra is a fearsome cult," Ashcroft said. "They desire average solutions by means and extremes, and sometimes go off on tangents in a search of absolute value. They use secret code names like 'x' and 'y' and refer to themselves as 'unknowns', but we have determined they belong to a common denominator of the axis of medieval with coordinates in every country."

"As the Greek philanderer Isosceles used to say, 'There are 3 sides to every triangle'."

When asked to comment on the arrest, President Bush said, "If God had wanted us to have better weapons of math instruction, He would have given us more fingers and toes."
