Treason or not to Treason?

It seems as if the Taliban uses the same methods the liberals do for brainwashing. John Walker, an American Citizen, has taken arms against the United States and opposition forces by fighting with the Taliban. Should we try him for treason?

Treason is a legal term for various acts of disloyalty. Has this John "Taliban" Walker shown an act of disloyalty? I believe that the fact that we caught him with the Taliban we can assume he has taken an act against the United States Military and would like to harm any of our troops over there. Try him for treason...I believe we should, however we do need some of our own troops to testify that they saw him take arms against the United States Military for a solid treason case. A Benedict Arnold...I would say so although. Unfortunately, he is an American Citizen and we cannot try him in the Military Tribunal because he is protected under our Constitution, unless he has renounced his United States citizenship. However, I hope the media doesn't make him out to be a victim and revere him as a hero...that would be an insult to our men and women in uniform.
