Chandra Levy...Where are you?

Politics

Where is Chandra Levy? Does the Representative from California, Gary Condit know? Perhaps he does...however he really isn't cooperating with police officials even though House Minority Leader Dick Gephart believes so. I do NOT believe, at this moment in time, that he is guilty for any crime or that he is responsible for the disappearance of Chandra Levy. However, the way things are looking, his reputation has declined greatly. There has not been any evidence that has revealed the linkage between Rep. Condit and the missing Chandra Levy...yet. We are all innocent until proven guilty, thus I do give him the benefit of the doubt. However, from what I hear of what the police have recovered from Rep. Condit's apartment, it does not sound good for the Congressman. My suggestion for the Representative? He should resign his post. Why? He has already obstructed justice in my opinion. (Haven't we heard this one before? Maybe by the name of William Jefferson Clinton obstructing justice...lying under oath? How times goes by and we forget.) The police wants him to take a polygraph test and he refuses time and time again. What does Gary Condit have to hide? He has already admitted of the sexual relations with Chandra Levy, however he lied to the police about this initially. Obstruction of justice? You bet! He cared more about his own name and integrity instead of the life of a missing intern. Committing adultery is a much more minor offense than obstruction of justice. Rep. Condit and Chandra Levy are both consenting adults and have every right to do whatever they wanted with each other. Breaking the vows of marriage would be his problem though, not a problem for the United States of America, but it is our problem when a representative lies to the local authorities. Now that this story has broken into the homes of every American we now see Rep. Condit's other relationships. Maybe saying nothing was a bad idea for the Congressman, what do you think?
