Geraldo and his libertarian ties?

Yesterday I heard Geraldo make a statement that made my ears perk up a bit. He said, "The true Republican is more of a Libertarian...". How true is that? The Republicans have ventured so far from their principles that it makes me disappointed of the party today. This is why I am Libertarian. You will find very dedicated, freedom loving individuals that hold true to their principles when it comes to not only politics but also their way of life.

If you want a real Republican (Libertarian) for 2008 then vote for Ron Paul (http://www.ronpaul2008.com/)

Something you won’t find in the 2008 Presidential Candidates

If you are following the presidential hopefuls for 2008 you may find candidates that:

  • "Say" that they want less government
  • "Imply" that they want to lower taxes
  • Try to sway you from one side or the other
  • Avoid sensitive issues that may be unpopular
  • Or flat out have no platform but a pretty face (No, I'm not talking about Hillary)
  • Rely on Name Recognition (I'm talking about Hillary)

You will find this in either Republican or Democrat candidates, but I implore you to find out. Who shows us to be a leader? Who will stand up for individuals and to keep our rightfully earned money? Who will be lead America to be a Great Nation that we are?

You won't find leadership in any candidate nor will you notice them to have leadership qualities. A leader is one who will make decisions not based upon polls but what is the right direction for the country. Our country was founded upon the principles of individuality and self-sovereignty…don't let politicians take this away from you. Vote Libertarian!

For those who think "it is a wasted vote" watch this on the History of the Libertarian Party.

Shame on you people who want to have kids

I can’t believe that people want to have their own kids these days. A “scientific” study just came out that adoptive parents are better than biological ones. Why waste your time now? How ridiculous! Well, that is a downer on all of you that have your own biological mom and dad…you may want to rethink about getting new parents.

The Tide in the Affairs of Men

We know that new ideas do not take hold until an intellectual shift stirs the tide of opinion. Copernicus first discovered the heliocentric view of the world yet the Catholic Church would not recognize this as the major idea since it would create "disruption" in the world of man. Economics also shows this trend as it took centuries for man to adopt Laissez Faire economics after Adam Smith pubished The Wealth of Nations in 1776. Present day we find that collectivism seems to take hold and we see Government creating expensive departments with no improvements in our daily life. When will we see the implementation of a more freedom loving society promoted by Milton Friedman or Frédéric Bastiat?

Hung up?

How better to start the new year than with the execution of Saddam Hussein? If only our justice system worked as fast as Iraq's we could save taxpayers some money.

I'm sure he is thinking, "Oh Shit!"

John Edwards announces his Presidential nomination

This is expected, if you didn't predict this then you haven't been paying attention to the political scene. He is a choice that makes sense for the Democratic Party (remember I'm Libertarian), he doesn't have to deal with the gender issue as Hillary does nor the racial issue in regards to Barak Obama and Edwards has a solid liberal track record in Congress. He is up there in the polls and not such a polarizing figure like Hitlery. Clinton is not a good choice for this country, but if you are a left-leaning moderate then you may be looking for Obama or Edwards as your Presidential choice.

I'm still waiting for the Libertarian Presidential nomination, but that is a ways off.
I don't agree with John Edwards statement that he wants to take money away from the rich...the rich pay 60% of the taxes in the country and they are only comprised of the top 10% percent of the population. The so-called "rich" create jobs for the economy and keep our market afloat. It is just another method of race warfare that the Left enjoys playing with.

Ted Kennedy makes an ass of himself (again)...

Today Ted Kennedy took the spotlight only to make himself look like an ass when he grilled Justice Roberts regarding the “less fortunate.”  He makes every attempt to ensure that Justice Roberts will try to use the courts, instead of legislation, to what Kennedy calls “eliminating discrimination in society.”  I’m sorry Senator Kennedy but Justice Roberts has a little bit more class and abides by our Constitution regarding this sort of legislative duty.

"But not every president, not every legislator, and not every judge agrees that the federal government has the power to address and try to remedy the twin national problems of poverty and access to equal opportunity," Kennedy said.

"Judge Roberts, today we want to find out how you view the Constitution and our ability to protect the most vulnerable," said the Massachusetts Democrat.

"Do you believe that Congress has the power to pass laws aimed at eliminating discrimination in society, or do you believe that our hands are tied - that the elected representatives of the people of the us are without the power to pass laws aimed at righting wrongs, ending injustice, eliminating the inequalities that we have just witnessed so dramatically and tragically in New Orleans," Kennedy asked.

"The American people want to know where you stand. We want to find out your view of the rule of law and the role of courts in our system," said the senator.

Roberts Praised for Standing Up to Democrats

This all explains the mind-set of Democrats that they don’t want a justice to interpret law, but they want a justice that is willing to legislate from the bench to forgo any decision by Congress or the American public.  For crying out loud, is it really inequalities that has caused tragedy in New Orleans?  If the poor in New Orleans were given additional welfare checks would have that solved the issue?  Actually, the welfare state has much blame in causing this type of mentality.  By increasing the size of the welfare state we have created an entitlement mentality, therefore the people that had looted merchandise from stores in New Orleans probably thought that they were entitled to do so.  What about working for your money, Senator Kennedy?  What happened to the American Dream?

PromoteLiberty.org Remembers September 11th

PromoteLiberty.org would like to honor those who have sacrificed their lives and lost ones related to the September 11th attack on the World Trade Center.  We would also like to express our gratitude to those serving in our armed forces who protect our freedoms and liberties in this trying time of uncertainty and terrorism.  We salute you and America for unwavering in our dedication and unwillingness to let tradegy affect the way we live.  Whether it is a Natural Disaster (i.e. Hurricane Katrina) or Terrorism we will continue to be Americans.

Out with the Old, in with the New

The catch phrase is Out with the Old, In with the New...that is what we need to do about our congressmen and representatives.  Why do we have seasoned politicians?  The longer they stay in office the more distance they have between their constituency.  There was once a time when farmers and other reluctant individuals knew the issues of their local politics and were sent by their peers to engage themselves in debate at the House of Representatives.  Now we have a groups of politicians that concentrate on their next election and create some type of incumbancy that secures their job.  This is not the type of politician I want...nor the type of politician that cares about the real issues.  Perhaps we need to start recruiting righteous citizens to step up to the job.

Don't try to Liberalize the Boy Scouts

I’m pretty sick and tired of how the media portrays the Boy Scouts as an organization that cannot pick and choose its members.  There is a question if they are public or private…well, I can tell you first hand that they are a private organization.  I always wanted to join the Boy Scouts as their morality and teachings for young boys was something to be admired.  However, I could not get into the Boy Scouts because my family could not afford the membership.  In what manner does the Boy Scouts appear to be public?  Is it because there there are membership fees?  Perhaps it is because it has some religious foundations?  Of course these are not reasons why it is public but reasons why it is a private organization.  Perhaps the liberals don’t like the honesty, integrity, and honor that the Boy Scouts uphold and tries to infiltrate the organization with it sexual deviants and atheists.

Forcing the BSA to accept homosexual members would be like requiring the NAACP to accept a Klansman into their group.

Karl Rove should not be fired...Democrats are out for blood

President Bush specifically said that he would fire the person that disclosed the name of C.I.A operative Valerie Plame. Here is the question for all of those that are calling for Karl Rove’s resignation and or President Bush to outrightly fire Rove…did he disclose the name of the C.I.A agent? The Democrats are out with their pitch-forks trying to get Rove fired but a crime was not committed by Karl Rove. Karl Rove did not commit a crime because he did not disclose the name of the agent. Karl Rove did not know that “Wilson’s wife” was a covert agent for the C.I.A. It seems that Joseph Wilson, Valerie Plame’s Husband, compromised his own wife’s identity when he wrote an article for the New York Times about his mission. Maybe he should go to jail?

Ten Commandments, is it really religious?

Isn’t it funny that these commandments:

1. Have no other gods before me [the God of the Hebrews].
2. Make no images of anything in heaven, earth or the sea, and do not worship or labor for them.
3. Do not vainly use the name of your God [the God of the Hebrews].
4. Do no work on the seventh day of the week.
5. Honor your parents.
6. Do not kill.
7. Do not commit adultery.
8. Do not steal.
9. Do not give false testimony against another.
10. Do not desire another's wife or anything that belongs to another.

Source:  The Real Ten Commandments

consistently come under attack by people.  I’m not just talking Liberals…although they are the ones that shout out the most about this topic…but people in general think that we have something called Separation of Church and State.  Where in the Constitution does it mention that there is separation of church and state?  It is a long-time tradition of our founding fathers to uphold religious liberty (through separation of church and state) and for the federal government to not aid religion.  This is why I have no problems displaying the ten commandments at a Texas courthouse but not in favor of Bush’s faith-based initiative.  Our founding fathers saw the corruption and how government was like under a religious monarchy, they new that when the government and religion were intertwined that religous jihad (i.e. the Crusades) could result.  If we really wanted to track the root of the separation of church and state we need to read up on Anne Hutchinson.

Democrats just don't understand the implications of 9/11

It is funny but Democrats just don’t understand the implications and the impact of 9/11.  Karl Rove, President Bush’s chief architect, says in a speech near ground zero:

"Liberals saw the savagery of the 9/11 attacks and wanted to prepare indictments and offer therapy and understanding for our attackers," Rove said Wednesday night. "Conservatives saw the savagery of 9/11 and the attacks and prepared for war."

Although this blogger does not totally agree with the concept of a War without an end.  It is true that the Democrats…when there is a crisis…want to offer Americans therapy of some sort or a psychoanalysis to get to the root of the problem.  Perhaps it was your mom beating you that night when you stole money out of her purse that you are feeling rage and hostility towards these religious fanatics.

It isn’t a matter of understanding these terrorists…they don’t care for the sanctity of life when they are willing to sacrifice themselves and kill 3,000 Americans for their God.  It is our best interest to get some reconnaissance on the ground and locate these terror cells and cut off the head.  Better technology and more special forces trained for counter-terrorism measures would do wonders in this day and age of “terror.”  Furthermore, blame doesn’t lie with just the Clinton Administration, the Carter Administration dwindled down our recon missions and relied heavily on technology.  We can rely on technology and use it as a tool…however it should not be used to replace ground troops.  Technology can’t infiltrate a terror camp to learn of its goals and missions.

North Korea, US' embattered child whines

N. Korea Blames U.S. for Nuke Program

North Korea today whines that it would not have had a need for a nuclear weapons plan if the US only treated it better.  How much do you want to bet the Democrats will be all over this in the coming days blaming that it is all Bush's fault that we are in a nuclear "showdown" with N. Korea.  Kim Jong Il is insane and knows how to manipulate the mainstream media into buying this lie.  I doubt that if we recognize their sovereignty that he will dismantle any nuclear progress...progress that was given to him by the Clinton Administration.

Who is John R. Bolton?

Can we finally have a vote on John R. Bolton?  Who is this man that the Democrats hate and the Republicans waiver their dedication.  It seems that Senate Majority Leader Bill frist is confused after saying that there will be no vote and then reversing his decision after meeting with President Bush.  Bolton is a man that rightly criticizes the effectiveness of the U.N. since its tarnished reputation from both the Oil-for-Food Scandal and allegations of rape among peacekeepers.  I can tell you that I wouldn’t want the U.N. to do my accounting nor peacekeeping.  Perhaps we can either find the political muscle through Bolton’s nomination to either clean up the U.N. or help transition the U.N. without the United States as its financial backer.  Quotes on the Bolton range from calling him a right-wing extremist to being able to collaborate and bring new perspective to the U.N.  I hope we can finally get the U.S. out of the U.N. to preserve our integrity and sovereignty.

93 more disenfranchised voters

3 King County Election Workers Suspended

The next hearing for the case is May 23rd.

Judge Sets May 23 Trial Date For Election Challenge

Maybe we'll finally get to re-elect Dino. There has been so many things that have gone wrong another election is due. If there is a re-election Dino will win because Gregoire already has shown Washington State that she is unwilling to back down on her welfare programs to balance the budget. WIthout her programs there would be no talk about raising gas taxes, raising taxes on spam and vienna sausages, nor discussion about a state income tax. She is bad news for Washington State!

Gas prices too high? Write to your senator about this...

Looks like Kerry and Edwards are no longer in the Honeymoon Stage.

Republicrat McCain seems to want to run for President annually. He has not ruled out 2008 but have we already ruled him out?

We need to constantly attack Clinton's credibility if we want to lessen the chances of her candidacy in 2008.

Intel on Al Qaeda and the Democratic insurgency oust

Are you tired of the prices at the gas pump? Some US Senators want to dip into our strategic oil reserves to help alleviate the price at the pump. On the other hand some people are bringing back the issue of drilling in ANWAR. According to researchers and how they will conduct the drilling in ANWAR...I think that we should go ahead with this idea instead of tapping into the reserves.

A intelligence commission claims that the US lacks the Intel about Iran and its arms. Why do we consistently find ourselves playing catch up with intelligence? We don't have enough intel about Iran but we do have enough to uncover this plot to kidnap Russell Crow. I just wish they could take Julia Roberts as well.

On the other hand, the Democratic insurgency on the mainstream media was ousted last night when Dan Rather signed off for the last time. He ended with the word: "Courage".

Another ridiculous note, IKEA is under fire in Norway for only having men assembling furniture in their instructions.

Swedish home furnishings giant IKEA is guilty of sex discrimination by showing only men putting together furniture in its instruction manuals, Norway's prime minister says.
